Jinsui Song is a Chinese filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She graduated from the MFA Directing program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a BFA in Screenwriting from Beijing Film Academy. She is a 2023-2024 Warner Bros. Discovery Access Directors Program alumna. Her work has been featured on AMC+ and screened at the Cairo International Film Festival, First International Film Festival, among others. Growing up in Shenzhen, a metropolis in Southeastern China, she struggled between traditional Cantonese values and modern aspirations. She endeavors to create films about women, in particular Chinese women, and the many facets of their womanhood.
